In a development unfolding in a New York courtroom, federal prosecutors have introduced additional sex trafficking charges against three brothers involved in the luxury real estate industry. Accusations target Oren Alexander, Tal Alexander, and Alon Alexander, outlining new accusations in a revised indictment.
The three siblings, held without bail, face allegations of sexual misconduct, with Manhattan prosecutors reporting they have communicated with over 60 individuals claiming they were sexually assaulted by at least one of the brothers. The real estate moguls allegedly leveraged their affluence, amassed through successful property dealings in metropolitan areas including New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles, to facilitate sexual violence against women over nearly two decades, between 2002 and 2021.
While the brothers initially entered not guilty pleas, the legal case has evolved with the freshly filed indictment adding five more charges associated with four additional alleged victims. Notably, one of these victims was reportedly a minor at the time of the alleged incidents.
Despite the progressed legal situation, Attorney Richard Klugh, representing the brothers, dismissed the additional charges through an email statement, describing them as an extension of unfounded governmental actions. Klugh characterized the prosecution’s efforts as an overreach, suggesting they stem from an aggressive and misguided pursuit.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Biase, a representative for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York, refrained from further comment, respecting the ongoing nature of the investigation.
