    In Conway, Arkansas, a tragic event unfolded over the weekend when multiple individuals opened fire in a city park, resulting in two fatalities and nine injuries, as reported by authorities on Tuesday. The two people who lost their lives in the Sunday night tragedy were identified by Conway Police as 24-year-old Tatayana Penister from England, Arkansas, and 23-year-old Demetrius Feemster from Little Rock. This unfortunate incident took place in Conway, a city situated approximately 27 miles (43 kilometers) north of Little Rock.

    Police Chief Chris Harris disclosed that during the incident, shots were fired from at least six different firearms, with investigators estimating that a staggering 100 rounds were discharged. However, Chief Harris did not provide details on the individuals being pursued by the police or the potential number of suspects involved.

    Among the nine individuals injured, Harris mentioned that one remained in intensive care as of Tuesday, while the other eight sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The shooting transpired during an event held at the park, which officials indicated had not been sanctioned or permitted by the city authorities.
