In Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill and his wife were involved in a domestic disagreement at their condominium, though no charges resulted from the incident, according to a police report.

Local authorities responded to Tyreek Hill’s residence on Monday after receiving a call from Hill’s mother-in-law. She had been residing with the couple since November following the birth of her granddaughter, as stated in the police documentation.

The mother-in-law described Hill, 31, as displaying aggressive and impulsive behavior, expressing concern for her daughter’s safety. She reported that Hill had thrown a laptop onto the floor and took his baby while heading toward the balcony.

Attempts to contact Hill’s agent for comments were unsuccessful.

Hill’s wife informed the police that the couple had been experiencing frequent arguments and were participating in couples therapy. She indicated that the therapy sessions were proving ineffective and that she was considering divorce proceedings.

Hill explained to the officers that he had come back from training and intended to discuss their therapy sessions with his wife, which led to escalations when she claimed he was not sufficiently involved with their daughter.

Both Hill and his wife affirmed that the dispute did not turn physical, but officers noted a bruise on the woman’s upper chest. She mentioned it might have occurred accidentally when Hill took the baby from her.

The officers confirmed the baby’s wellbeing. While Hill’s wife chose not to provide a written statement, Hill departed the premises approximately 40 minutes after the officers arrived.

This incident adds to the off-field issues surrounding Hill. In September, Hill faced citations but ultimately avoided charges after officers failed to appear in court following an incident during a traffic stop en route to the Dolphins’ season-opener. This incident had sparked discussions concerning police use of force.

Additionally, in February 2024, social media personality Sophie Hall brought a lawsuit against Hill, claiming her right leg was fractured during a football drill altercation at Hill’s mansion the prior summer.

Hill’s history also includes a 2019 suspension by the Chiefs amid allegations of child abuse. Furthermore, in 2015, Hill pleaded guilty to domestic assault charges involving his pregnant fiancée, resulting in three years of probation.

In 2023, Hill was investigated by Miami-Dade police following accusations of striking a man in a verbal dispute. No charges emerged from that investigation.
