MILWAUKEE — Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the Milwaukee Bucks lineup on Tuesday night, having missed a single game due to tendinopathy in his left shoulder.
Ahead of the matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Bucks coach Doc Rivers confirmed that the two-time Most Valuable Player would be participating. Antetokounmpo, who was originally marked as probable on the injury list, skipped the 111-107 win over New Orleans on Sunday.
The 30-year-old athlete is having a stellar season, currently positioned second in the NBA for scoring with 30.5 points per game and sixth in rebounding, averaging 11.9 boards.
Additionally, Tuesday’s game also signifies the end of Bucks forward Bobby Portis’ 25-game suspension. Portis received the suspension after testing positive for the painkiller Tramadol.
