UEFA announced on Monday that ticket prices for most fans at the men’s Champions League final remain the same as last year, except for significant increases in high-end seats. The final match, scheduled for May 31, will be held at Bayern Munich’s stadium, where each finalist team will receive 18,000 tickets priced at a special low rate of 70 euros ($77). This price matches the lowest ticket price for the 2024 final, which took place at London’s Wembley Stadium.

A notable rise in ticket costs has been applied to the two most expensive seat categories. Highest-priced tickets have increased from 713 euros ($781) to 950 euros ($1,040), while “category 2” seats have risen from 500 euros ($548) to 650 euros ($712). These pricing updates were confirmed by UEFA.

The revenue collected from tickets for UEFA club finals is part of a larger financial framework, which includes billions of euros generated from broadcasting and commercial partnerships. This revenue is mostly distributed among hundreds of clubs each season, serving as prize money and solidarity payments. Last year, Real Madrid, the Champions League victor, received the largest payment of $154 million from UEFA.

UEFA also noted that out of the 64,500 available seats for the prestigious match in Munich, 38,700 tickets will be sold “directly for fans and the general public to purchase.”

Along with the allocations for the two final teams, an additional 2,700 tickets are available for global fans through UEFA’s website, with a purchase limit of two tickets per buyer.

Furthermore, over 25,000 tickets are allocated to sponsors, broadcasters, national soccer federations, and UEFA guests.
