    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In a strong offensive showing, Coby White led the Chicago Bulls to a 131-117 victory against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, scoring 37 points and hitting 6 of 8 from three-point range. Josh Giddey supported the effort with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, as the Bulls secured their third consecutive win.

    Nikola Vucevic also contributed significantly with 16 points and 11 rebounds. The Bulls are currently just one game behind the Atlanta Hawks in the race for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference standings.

    The struggling Hornets, who have now lost 10 of their last 12 games, were led by Mark Williams with 22 points and nine rebounds. K.J. Simpson and Jusuf Nurkic each tallied 18 points in the defeat.

    White, who hails from Goldsboro, North Carolina, and played his college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels, continues to shine in his visits to Charlotte. Over the last four games against the Hornets at the Spectrum Center, he has averaged 30.5 points. White was efficient on the night, shooting 12 of 16 from the field and providing five assists.
