In a recent announcement, the Los Angeles Rams conveyed that running back Ronnie Rivers and defensive lineman Larrell Murchison have re-signed with the team on one-year contracts.

Ronnie Rivers, a former standout at Fresno State who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, has been a reliable component of the Rams’ roster over the last three years. Throughout his tenure, he has played in 34 games, including two starts as a running back, and has also been a significant contributor on special teams. His on-field performance includes rushing for 249 yards and pulling down 15 receptions for a total of 85 yards.

Meanwhile, Larrell Murchison, who initially joined the Rams after they claimed him off waivers from the Tennessee Titans late in 2022, is poised to enter his third full season with the team. Unfortunately, last season did not see Murchison take to the field due to a series of injuries, starting with an arm injury during the preseason, followed by a foot injury in October after he resumed practices. With his recovery complete, Murchison looks forward to making a significant impact in the defensive lineup.

The Rams are optimistic about the forthcoming season and appear to be bolstering their roster by retaining familiar and talented players like Rivers and Murchison.
