FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Patriots have made strides in bolstering their roster by securing deals with safety Marcus Epps, wide receiver Mack Hollins, tight end Austin Hooper, and defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga. These acquisitions are part of a strategic move that has seen the team sign 10 new players since the onset of the new league year.

While the specific financial terms of most deals weren’t disclosed publicly by the organization, Marcus Epps took to social media to divulge that his contract is for one year and could value up to $4.4 million. Epps, who previously played for the Las Vegas Raiders, is recovering from knee surgery but is projected to be fit for the commencement of training camp.

Additionally, Mack Hollins has inked a two-year agreement valued at approximately $8.4 million, as confirmed by his agency. Hollins, who spent the last season with the Buffalo Bills, adds experience to the squad with a career spanning five teams over seven NFL seasons.

Tight end Austin Hooper, known last season as a reliable ally for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, rejoins the team purportedly on a two-year contract worth $5 million. Meanwhile, the defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga is believed to have signed a two-year deal, presumably intended to address the absence created by Davon Godchaux’s recent trade to the New Orleans Saints.
