    ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — In a thrilling quarterfinal of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday night, Dola Adebayo was the star, driving Mount St. Mary’s to a 62-58 win over Marist. Adebayo’s impressive performance included 19 points and 11 rebounds, setting the tone for the sixth-seeded Mountaineers as they advanced in the tournament.

    Arlandus Keyes, a noteworthy contributor to Mount St. Mary’s victory, sank three 3-pointers and accumulated 11 points, along with securing five rebounds. This victory propels them into a semifinal matchup against the No. 2 seed Merrimack on Friday. Jedy Cordilia also shone on the court, adding another 11 points with efficient shooting, hitting 5 of his 8 attempts.

    For Marist, seeded third, Josh Pascarelli led with 16 points, while Jadin Collins displayed his versatility by adding 14 points, four assists, and three steals. Jason Schofield also had a solid game, contributing 11 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
