NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Saints have bolstered their lineup with the addition of cornerback Isaac Yiadom, tight end Jack Stoll, and offensive lineman Will Clapp, as announced on Thursday.
Isaac Yiadom joins the Saints from the San Francisco 49ers, marking his return to New Orleans, where he played in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Yiadom’s contract with the Saints is a three-year deal. Last season, the 6-foot-1, 188-pound defender participated in 17 games for the 49ers, achieving a personal best of 44 tackles, alongside one interception, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. In addition, his contributions on special teams were notable, making two tackles and recovering a fumbled punt.
Originally a third-round draft pick from Boston College in 2018, Yiadom’s NFL journey spans across several teams such as the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, and most recently, the 49ers. Throughout his career, Yiadom has amassed 182 tackles, three interceptions, 32 pass breakups, and several contributions on special teams.
Jack Stoll, coming off his previous tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins, has committed to a one-year contract with the Saints. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 247 pounds, Stoll entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Nebraska with the Eagles. Over his four-year career, Stoll has participated in 61 games, collecting 22 receptions for 193 yards and making seven tackles on special teams. Furthermore, he played in five playoff games with the Eagles but was released last season ahead of their Super Bowl journey.
Returning to New Orleans, Will Clapp, a local talent and former LSU player, has rejoined the team that originally drafted him in the seventh round back in 2018. Spanning 6-foot-5 and weighing 314 pounds, Clapp has played 66 regular-season games along with 22 starts for the Saints, as well as the Los Angeles Chargers and Buffalo Bills. Last season, he was part of the Bills’ postseason games. Notably, in 2023, Clapp achieved a career milestone by starting 11 games with the Chargers, primarily positioned as a center.
