A shooting incident occurred early Wednesday morning near a terminal at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, resulting from a confrontation involving several individuals, according to police reports.
A 25-year-old man was shot twice in the lower part of his body, as detailed in a communiqué from the Chicago Police Department. Following the incident, he was transported to a medical facility, where his condition was described as stable.
Authorities mentioned that another individual was being questioned in relation to the event.
The shooting took place on a roadway outside Terminal 2, according to the police statement. Local media coverage included images that suggested a nearby window, close to the baggage claim section, had been damaged, possibly as a result of the altercation.
