TOKYO — Recent reports from Japanese media outlets have revealed a disturbing case involving the arrest of several individuals accused of sexually assaulting their underage daughters and distributing the videos online. Despite the gravity of the allegations, police have yet to officially confirm these reports.

According to accounts from the Kyodo News agency and NHK television, authorities in Aichi prefecture, located in central Japan, have detained several men aged between their 30s and 50s. The charges they face are severe, including the repeated rape of their daughters or stepdaughters, who are reportedly between the ages of 6 and 14. The accused allegedly filmed these reprehensible acts and disseminated the footage on social media platforms.

The men are also being charged with offenses related to child prostitution and child pornography. The media reports indicate that the individuals communicated in a group chat, where they exchanged messages and videos depicting their assaults. This illicit network came to light following the arrest of one of the perpetrators in November for allegedly raping a child. During the investigation, police scrutinized data on his mobile device, which led to the apprehension of the remaining suspects.

This case has sent shockwaves through the public, raising urgent questions about the protection of children within the community and the need for stringent law enforcement measures against such heinous crimes.
