MADRID — Enzo Alves, who is the son of ex-Real Madrid and Brazil left back Marcelo, has been invited to join Spain’s under-17 national team as announced on Tuesday.
The 15-year-old forward, born in Madrid, has received his maiden call-up for the national squad, marking a significant step in his budding football career. Choosing to represent the country of his birth, Alves made this decision official in 2023.
Having inked his first professional deal with Real Madrid in 2022, Enzo Alves is on the path to potentially follow in the illustrious footsteps of his father, Marcelo. Marcelo, who dedicated 16 seasons to Real Madrid, retired last year after a tenure with Brazil’s Fluminense.
As Enzo takes his first steps on the international stage, the hopes are high for him to make a significant impact wearing the Spanish colors.
