LAS VEGAS—Andrew Tate, a former kickboxer known for his contentious online presence, was spotted at UFC 313 at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night. This appearance followed his attendance at Dana White’s Power Slap 12 event held the previous evening at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Andrew Tate, alongside his brother Tristan, recently left Romania after they were allowed to travel again. Their travel ban was lifted as they face serious charges, including human trafficking, under accusations of their involvement in an organized crime group. Andrew Tate also faces rape charges.
The Tate brothers, holding dual citizenship in the United States and the United Kingdom, were initially arrested at the end of 2022, with formal indictments following last year. They arrived in Florida on February 27 after leaving Romania.
Florida’s attorney general disclosed this week that a criminal investigation into the brothers has begun. Despite these developments, the Tates maintain their innocence in the ongoing legal matters. “We live in a democratic society where it’s innocent until proven guilty. And I think my brother and I are largely misunderstood,” stated Andrew Tate in Florida on Thursday.
Dana White, the president and CEO of UFC, was observed greeting the Tate brothers warmly on Friday, with a video circulating online in which he says, “Welcome to the States, boys,” as he exchanged handshakes and hugs with them.
