FULLERTON, Calif. — Barrington Hargress delivered a standout performance, scoring 22 points to lead UC Riverside to a 64-59 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday.
Hargress impressed for the Highlanders with his shooting accuracy, making 8 of his 14 attempts. He succeeded in hitting one 3-pointer out of four attempts and converted five of his eight free throws. Backing Hargress, Isaiah Moses contributed 12 points, making 4 out of 9 shots and 3 of 7 from beyond the arc. Jack Whitbourn added to the team’s score with 10 points, achieving 3 out of 4 field goals and a perfect 4 from the free-throw line.
Leading the Titans’ efforts was Kaleb Brown, who managed to score 14 points and contributed two blocks. Zach Visentin also provided support for CSU Fullerton by scoring 13 points. Further efforts were put in by Kobe Young, who secured 10 points alongside an impressive 11 rebounds. Despite their efforts, the Titans faced disappointment, marking their twelfth consecutive loss.
