CSUN triumphs over Hawaii with 82-73 victory

    Los Angeles — In a thrilling college basketball showdown, Marcus Adams Jr. made a remarkable contribution with 21 points, leading Cal State Northridge to a compelling 82-73 victory over Hawaii on Saturday. The game showcased impressive performances from both teams, marking an exciting event in the basketball season.

    Adams stood out not only for his scoring but also for grabbing eight rebounds, playing a pivotal role for the Matadors, who now sport a 22-9 overall record with a 14-6 standing in the Big West Conference. Adding to the team’s success, Tyler Beard made notable contributions by scoring 19 points. Beard was efficient with 6 of 11 shooting from the field, including a perfect 4 for 4 from three-point range and 3 for 4 from the free-throw line. His all-around performance was complemented by his six rebounds and six assists.

    PJ Fuller also delivered a solid performance for Cal State Northridge, scoring 16 points. His shooting included an accurate 6 for 11 from the field and an impressive 3 for 4 from three-point land, further boosting the Matadors’ offensive game.
