NEW YORK — Manhattan secured a victory over Siena with a score of 78-66, concluding the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season on a high note. The Jaspers were powered by Wesley Robinson’s impressive performance, as he scored 15 points and also contributed six rebounds. Shaquil Bender matched Robinson’s scoring with 15 points, while Will Sydnor made a significant impact with 12 points and eight rebounds.
For the Saints, Gavin Doty delivered a standout performance, tallying 21 points alongside 12 rebounds and two steals. Justice Shoats also had a noteworthy game, adding 15 points, eight assists, and three blocks to the team’s efforts. Major Freeman provided additional support with 13 points.
Heading into the day, Manhattan found themselves in a three-way tie for the fourth spot in the conference standings, whereas Siena was in a shared position with Rider for eighth place.
