    AMHERST, Mass. — In a commanding display, Jayden Dawson led Loyola Chicago to a decisive 74-51 victory over UMass in their regular-season finale on Saturday. Dawson contributed significantly to the Ramblers’ (21-10, 12-6 Atlantic 10 Conference) triumph by scoring 17 points. His shooting performance was noteworthy, as he successfully made 6 of 14 attempts from the field, including 5 of 12 from beyond the arc.

    Adding to Loyola Chicago’s offensive strength, Des Watson contributed 14 points. Watson’s efficiency was highlighted by his 5 of 9 shooting, connecting on 3 of 6 shots from three-point range. Meanwhile, Sheldon Edwards provided additional support, scoring a total of 12 points with a notable effort from the three-point line, hitting 4 of 14.

    On the other side, UMass (12-19, 7-11) saw standout performance from Daniel Hankins-Sanford. He led the Minutemen by posting an impressive double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds, showcasing his skills on both ends of the court. Jaylen Curry was also a key scorer for UMass, adding 11 points, while Rahsool Diggins contributed with nine points and managed to make two steals.
