    KALAMAZOO, Mich. — In a thrilling basketball showdown, Jalen Sullinger delivered a stunning performance by scoring 31 points, helping the Golden Flashes claim a narrow 77-76 victory over Western Michigan on Tuesday. Sullinger showcased his scoring prowess by hitting 10 out of 24 attempts from the field, making 3 of 7 from beyond the arc, and displaying perfect accuracy from the free-throw line, sinking all eight of his attempts. This victory marks an important win for the Golden Flashes (20-10, 10-7 Mid-American Conference) as they continue their conference journey.

    Adding significant contributions to the win, Delrecco Gillespie poured in 18 points, hitting 6 of his 13 shots and going 6 for 9 from the charity stripe, while also dominating the boards with 18 rebounds. VonCameron Davis chipped in with 11 points, despite struggling from the field, shooting 3 of 12 and missing all three of his three-point attempts, but he successfully converted 5 of his 7 free throws.
