ARLINGTON, Texas — Abilene Christian emerged victorious over UT Arlington in a Western Athletic Conference face-off, securing a 70-59 win on Saturday.
Bradyn Hubbard was instrumental for the Wildcats, racking up 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds. His efforts were complemented by Quion Williams, who chipped in with 13 points and six boards. Meanwhile, Hunter Jack Madden contributed 12 points, having successfully hit four out of his ten shots, including two from three-point range.
For the Mavericks, it was Lance Ware who shone brightest with an impressive double-double, scoring 24 points, snatching 11 rebounds, and adding three blocks to his tally. His teammate, Diante Smith, provided additional support with 11 points, while Raysean Seamster added seven points and two steals to the mix.
Looking ahead, Abilene Christian is set to go head-to-head with Utah Valley at their home venue on Thursday. Conversely, UT Arlington will face Cal Baptist in an away game scheduled for Saturday.
