    TULSA, Okla. — In an exciting finish, Tulane University triumphed over Tulsa with a score of 79-77, thanks to Gregg Glenn III’s pivotal layup with merely one second remaining on the clock. Glenn was a standout performer for the Green Wave, contributing a total of 22 points and securing five rebounds. The victory improved Tulane’s record to 17-12 overall and 11-5 in the American Athletic Conference.

    Rowan Brumbaugh was also a key player for Tulane, delivering 11 points while making three field goals out of thirteen attempts and converting all five free throw opportunities. His performance was complemented by seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Contributing to the Green Wave’s success was Kaleb Banks, who netted 11 points, making five out of eleven field goals, including one three-pointer out of three attempts.

    On the opposition side, Tulsa’s Isaiah Barnes scored an impressive 20 points for the Golden Hurricane, who now stand at 11-18 overall and 5-11 in the conference. Keaston Willis chipped in with 13 points, and Dwon Odom added 12 points along with eight assists and two steals, providing solid support for their team.

    During the first half, Brumbaugh scored nine points, yet Tulane found themselves trailing 43-36 at halftime. However, Glenn powered the Green Wave’s comeback in the second half with 16 points, culminating in his decisive game-winning shot.

    Looking ahead, Tulane is set to face East Carolina in an away game on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tulsa will prepare to host Temple on Tuesday.
