In an impressive showcase of athletic prowess, Mondo Duplantis achieved a new milestone in pole vaulting by reaching a height of 6.27 meters during a World Athletics Indoor Tour event held in Clermont-Ferrand, France. This incredible feat allowed him to raise his own world record, originally set in August in Poland, by an additional centimeter.

Duplantis, who holds both Olympic and world champion titles, continued his record-breaking streak with this accomplishment marking his 11th world pole vault record. The Swedish athlete achieved this remarkable height on his first attempt at the renowned All Star Perche event.

Alongside Duplantis’ triumph, Emmanouil Karalis secured second place by setting a Greek national record with a clearance of 6.02 meters. Notably, the event proved to be historic as it saw a total of six male competitors achieving heights of 5.91 meters or more, a first in a single competition.
