    BUIES CREEK, N.C. — The UNC Wilmington Seahawks secured a commanding victory over Campbell with a final score of 79-60 on Thursday night, ensuring their position as the No. 2 seed in the CAA tournament. Harlan Obioha played a pivotal role, contributing 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds for the Seahawks.

    The game saw UNC Wilmington ahead by a ten-point margin, 38-28, at halftime. Obioha delivered a strong performance in the second half, adding 15 points to his tally, helping the Seahawks solidify their win and enhance their season record to 23-7 overall and 13-4 in the CAA.

    Donovan Newby also made significant contributions with 17 points and five assists, while Khamari McGriff had an impressive shooting night, hitting 7 of 9 shots for a total of 14 points.

    Campbell’s efforts were spearheaded by Colby Duggan, who scored 19 points. Supporting him, Nolan Dorsey provided 12 points and eight rebounds, and Cameron Gregory chipped in with nine points and two steals, though it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit. The loss brings Campbell to a 15-15 overall record with 10-7 in conference play.
