NEW ORLEANS — Kaleb Banks delivered an impressive performance, netting 24 points as Tulane University secured a 78-64 victory over Charlotte on Wednesday night. This win bolstered the Green Wave’s season record to 16-12, with a strong 10-5 standing in the American Athletic Conference.

In addition to his scoring feat, Banks contributed significantly on the defensive end, pulling down seven rebounds. Teammate Rowan Brumbaugh supported the effort by adding 18 points, showcasing his shooting prowess with a four-for-seven field goal performance and a flawless eight-for-eight record from the free-throw line. Kam Williams was also pivotal, scoring 14 points on six-for-nine shooting, including two of five from three-point range.

The Charlotte 49ers, who have struggled this season with a record of 10-18 and a conference tally of just 3-12, were led by Giancarlo Rosado. Rosado managed to score 12 points and collect six rebounds in the contest. Meanwhile, Robert Braswell chipped in with 11 points and two steals, and Nika Metskhvarishvili added nine points to Charlotte’s total.

The Green Wave established their dominance early, cruising to a comfortable 44-29 lead by halftime, largely thanks to Banks, who had already accumulated 16 points by the break.
