    TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — In a commanding display, Chris Youngblood delivered a standout performance, scoring 27 points to lead No. 6 Alabama to a resounding 111-73 victory over No. 24 Mississippi State on Tuesday night. The Crimson Tide showcased their shooting prowess by successfully converting nearly half of their 45 three-point attempts.

    Mark Sears was instrumental for Alabama, contributing 21 points and a game-high 10 assists. Alabama (23-5, 12-3 SEC) achieved a season-best in three-pointers, making 22 out of 45 shots from beyond the arc, achieving a remarkable 49% conversion rate. Youngblood was particularly efficient from long range, hitting 7 out of 11 attempts, while Sears connected on 5 of his 12 shots. Jarin Stevenson also made an impact off the bench by sinking all three of his three-point attempts.

    Aden Holloway, coming in as a reserve guard, added significant contributions with his trio of three-pointers, tallying a total of 13 points and dishing out five assists. Mouhamed Dioubate provided solid support with 10 points and an 11-rebound double-double. Labaron Philon rounded out the dynamic performances by contributing 10 points alongside five assists.

    Despite the lopsided loss, Mississippi State (19-9, 7-8 SEC) found a bright spot in Josh Hubbard, who led the team with 21 points on 8-of-22 shooting. KeShawn Murphy delivered a notable performance off the bench, scoring 18 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
