    LEWISBURG, Pa. — In a commanding performance, Josh Bascoe tallied 30 points as Bucknell triumphed over Army with a decisive score of 84-53 on Sunday.

    Bascoe also contributed five assists and four steals for the Bison, who now hold a record of 15-14 overall and 11-5 in the Patriot League. Ruot Bijiek was another key player for Bucknell, adding 13 points while shooting impressively at 5 for 7 from the field, including 3 for 5 from three-point range.

    For the Black Knights, who stand at 16-12 with a 10-6 league record, Jalen Rucker and AJ Allenspach each scored 13 points in the match.

    Bucknell took control of the game early, claiming the lead just 8 seconds into the first half and never looking back. Bascoe’s scoring prowess was evident early on as he netted 18 points in the first half, helping Bucknell establish a 44-30 advantage by halftime. The second half saw Bucknell expand their lead to as much as 58-38, highlighted by a 9-0 scoring streak. Bascoe continued to shine, leading Bucknell in the second half with another 12 points.
