— In an impressive display, Jordan Jefferson tallied 25 points, leading the Little Rock Trojans to a decisive 75-61 victory over Western Illinois on Saturday evening.
Jefferson showcased his scoring prowess by shooting 10 out of 16 from the field, including a successful 3 for 5 from three-point territory, and contributed with 2 out of 3 from the charity stripe. This win improved Little Rock’s season record to 18-11, with a conference standing of 12-6 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Tuongthach Gatkek made notable contributions as well, scoring 15 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and making three steals. Mwani Wilkinson, who hit 5 of 12 shots, including 2 of 5 from long range, chipped in with 12 points and secured eight rebounds to support the team’s efforts.
For Western Illinois, Ryan Myers led his team with 17 points along with eight rebounds. Trey Deveaux also made a significant impact, contributing 11 points and nearly a double-double with nine rebounds.
