NEWARK, Delaware — Hofstra secured a 78-65 victory over Delaware on Saturday night, with Cruz Davis leading the charge by scoring 28 points.
Davis contributed significantly to the team’s performance, also grabbing five rebounds in the process, helping the Pride improve their record to 13-16 overall and 5-11 in the Coastal Athletic Association. Khalil Farmer supported the team with 19 points, shooting an impressive 7 of 13 from the field, which included hitting 3 of 6 from three-point territory. Farmer also added seven rebounds to his stats. Eric Parnell chipped in with 10 points, making 4 of his 9 attempts, including two buckets from downtown. This win marked a vital turnaround for Hofstra, breaking a frustrating six-game losing streak.
