Campbell’s shooting was notable, as he hit 10 of his 20 attempts from the floor, though his long-range shooting struggled, making just 1 of 5 from three-point territory. Derrick Butler contributed significantly as well, scoring 20 points by shooting 8 for 14 from the field and making 3 of 7 from beyond the arc, along with a free throw. Marcus Johnson also played a vital role for the Falcons, contributing 10 points from 3 for 9 shooting, which included 2 for 5 from three-point range, and he also collected six rebounds.
On the other side, the Rockets had their strongest performer in Sam Lewis, who racked up 21 points. Sonny Wilson was another key player for Toledo, adding 13 points to the team’s tally. Javan Simmons helped bolster the Rockets’ defense with 10 points and two blocks.
