San Diego, California — In an impressive performance, San Diego State secured an 83-60 victory over Fresno State on Tuesday, highlighted by Nicholas Boyd’s contribution of 19 points.
Boyd also facilitated the team’s play with seven assists, helping the Aztecs improve their season record to 18-6, with an 11-4 mark within the Mountain West Conference.
Additionally, Wayne McKinney III added to the scoreboard with 15 points, hitting 5 out of 11 shots, including three three-pointers.
Magoon Gwath complemented the offensive effort with a stellar shooting performance, making 6 of 8 attempts from the field, finishing the game with 14 points, six rebounds, and three blocks.

On the other side, Fresno State, now struggling with a record of 5-22 overall and 1-15 in conference play, was spearheaded by Jalen Weaver, who recorded 16 points.

By halftime, the Aztecs had built a commanding 43-23 lead, with Boyd scoring 13 of his points in the first half.
In the second half, San Diego State further distanced themselves from Fresno State with an impressive 11-2 run, increasing their lead from 22 points to a substantial 31-point advantage.
