In a decisive matchup on Monday night, Bucknell secured a 67-50 win against Lehigh, thanks in large part to Noah Williamson’s standout performance, where he scored 25 points.
Williamson also contributed significantly on the boards with nine rebounds for the Bison, who now hold an overall record of 14-14 and are 10-5 in the Patriot League. Josh Bascoe also supported the team’s offense, finishing with 14 points and five rebounds.
On the other side, the Mountain Hawks, who now sit at 10-16 and 5-10 in conference play, were led by Tyler Whitney-Sidney, who netted 19 points. Nasir Whitlock assisted the effort with a solid performance, adding 11 points to the team’s total.
The game turned in Bucknell’s favor just 40 seconds before halftime, when they took a narrow lead. With Bascoe leading the way for the Bison, they went into the half with a 29-25 advantage thanks to his nine points in the first half. In the second half, Williamson exploded for 18 points, solidifying their lead and ensuring the victory.
