MISSOULA, Mont. — In an intense matchup on Saturday night, Malik Moore propelled the Montana Grizzlies to a 65-58 victory over Weber State, scoring an impressive 22 points.
Moore showcased his shooting skills by making 8 of his 13 attempts, which included a remarkable 6 out of 10 from three-point range, contributing significantly to his team’s success.
Alongside Moore, Te’Jon Sawyer also made a notable impact, scoring 17 points with a high efficiency, hitting 7 out of 9 shots.
Kai Johnson added valuable contributions with nine points, shooting 4 of 7 from the field and making 1 of his 3 free throw attempts, helping the Grizzlies stretch their winning streak to eight consecutive games.

On the other side, the Weber State Wildcats, whose record now stands at 9-18 and 3-10 in Big Sky Conference play, were spearheaded in scoring by Blaise Threatt, who finished the game with 24 points and four assists.
Trevor Henning and Viljami Vartiainen each chipped in with 11 points to round out the scoring for Weber State, but the effort fell short against the Grizzlies.

Looking ahead, the Grizzlies are scheduled to face Montana State in an upcoming road game on Saturday.
