BOSTON — In a thrilling matchup on Saturday night, Thomas Batties II showcased his skills by scoring 31 points, guiding Harvard to an impressive 87-75 victory over Columbia.
Batties also contributed significantly on the boards, with seven rebounds, and demonstrated his defensive prowess by blocking three shots for the Crimson, who now hold a record of 9-13 overall and 4-5 in the Ivy League.

Supporting Batties, Louis Lesmond added 17 points to the scoreboard, shooting effectively with a 5 for 9 field goal percentage, including 4 for 7 from three-point range, and converting 3 of 4 free throws. Lesmond also helped the team with five rebounds.
Evan Nelson joined the effort with 12 points, successfully making 5 out of 9 attempts from the floor, which included a solid 2 for 4 from long distance, alongside six assists to bolster Harvard’s offensive game.
