Oregon State secures a 79-65 victory against Pacific

CORVALLIS, Ore. — In a decisive contest Saturday night, Oregon State secured a 79-65 victory against Pacific, with Josiah Lake contributing significantly by scoring 16 points.
Lake also recorded five rebounds to bolster his team’s performance as the Beavers improved their record to 18-9 overall and 8-6 within the West Coast Conference.
Nate Kingz supported the effort with 13 points, hitting 4 of 9 shots, including an impressive 3 for 5 from long range.
Parsa Fallah added to the scoring with 12 points from 4 for 10 shooting, while also going a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line and grabbing seven rebounds.

On the other side, Lamar Washington led the Tigers with a strong performance, tallying 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Elijah Fisher chipped in 14 points for Pacific, while Petar Krivokapic matched that output with another 14 points.
The first half was fiercely contested, with both teams locked in a 40-40 tie at halftime, spurred by Fallah’s contribution of 10 points before the break.
However, the Beavers forged ahead following a pivotal 3-pointer by Lake just under 18 minutes into the second half, establishing a lead they would never relinquish.
Oregon State dominated the latter half, outscoring Pacific by a solid margin of 14 points.

Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to play again on Thursday. Oregon State will travel to face off against Pepperdine, while Pacific will make their way to San Francisco for their next matchup.
