In addition to his scoring, McLaughlin also recorded four steals for the Lumberjacks, who now hold a record of 15 wins and 12 losses, with 6 victories and 8 defeats within the Big Sky Conference. Carson Towt impressed with 14 points, shooting 6 of 9 from the field, although he struggled from the charity stripe, making 2 of his 8 attempts. He rounded out his performance with 10 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Ryan Abelman also made notable contributions, scoring 10 points on a near-perfect shooting performance of 3 of 4 from the field, including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, and successfully converting 2 of 3 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, the Hornets, now at 6-20 with a 2-11 conference record, were led by Jacob Holt, who notched a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
