ARLINGTON, Texas — In a competitive matchup on Saturday, Rayshon Harrison shone for Grand Canyon, contributing 19 points to help his team secure an 82-75 victory over UT Arlington.
Harrison also grabbed five rebounds, playing a key role for the Antelopes (19-6, 9-2 in the Western Athletic Conference). Tyon Grant-Foster delivered an impressive performance of his own, scoring 18 points, complemented by five assists and three blocks. JaKobe Coles provided additional support with 13 points, shooting 4 of 9 from the field, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc, alongside four made free throws. He also made his presence felt on defense, recording eight rebounds and three steals.
For UT Arlington (12-14, 5-7), Darius Burford was the top scorer with 14 points. Raysean Seamster contributed with 12 points and six rebounds, while Diante Smith also chipped in with 12 points to support his team.
Both teams will be back in action next Saturday. Grand Canyon is set to host Cal Baptist, while UT Arlington will face Tarleton State at home.
