SAN JOSE, Calif. — In a recent college basketball matchup, Nevada secured a victory over San Jose State with a score of 73-58, thanks in large part to the performance of Kobe Sanders, who netted 18 points.

Sanders not only scored but also demonstrated his versatility by delivering nine assists and making three steals for the Wolf Pack, who improved their record to 15-10 overall and 7-7 in the Mountain West Conference. Brandon Love also made a notable contribution, scoring 13 points, shooting 6 for 8 from the field, and converting 1 of 3 attempts at the free-throw line while grabbing five rebounds. Justin McBride added 12 points to the scoreboard, going 6 of 12 in field goals, although he did not hit any of his four attempts from beyond the arc.

For the Spartans, Latrell Davis was the standout player, finishing the game with 17 points. Teammate Sadraque NgaNga contributed 10 points, while Donavan Yap had nine points and facilitated five assists.

With Nick Davidson chipping in seven points during the first half, Nevada found itself down by one, at 27-26, at halftime. However, Sanders turned up the heat in the second half, scoring 16 more points, leading Nevada to a decisive 15-point win.

Looking ahead, Nevada will face Colorado State on Tuesday in an away game, while San Jose State will head to Utah State for their next matchup on Wednesday.
