RIVERDALE, N.Y. — On Friday night, Will Sydnor was instrumental in leading Manhattan to a close victory over Merrimack, finalizing the score at 79-75. Sydnor demonstrated a strong performance, contributing 19 points and securing 10 rebounds for the Jaspers, who now hold a record of 12-10 and 7-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Wesley Robinson was another key player for Manhattan, netting 18 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Meanwhile, Masiah Gilyard also made a significant impact, scoring 17 points with an efficient shooting line that included hitting 4 of 10 attempts overall and converting 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, as well as making 7 of 10 free-throw attempts.
On the opposing side, Merrimack’s Adam Clark led his team with a commendable performance, finishing the game with 22 points, along with five assists, two steals, and two blocks.
