ST. CHARLES, Mo. — In a solid performance on Thursday night, Reggie Bass scored 30 points, helping Lindenwood secure a 73-60 victory over Morehead State.
Bass’s outstanding effort also included six rebounds, contributing significantly to the Lions’ performance. Teammate Jadis Jones supported the effort with 16 points and six rebounds, while Anias Futrell added another 13 points for Lindenwood, which now holds a record of 12 wins and 14 losses, along with a 7-8 standing in the Ohio Valley Conference.
On the other side, Khouri Carvey spearheaded the Eagles’ efforts, finishing the game with a commendable 20 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocks. Tyler Brelsford contributed with eight points and four assists, while Kade Ruegsegger also tallied eight points for Morehead State, who now stands at 14 wins and 12 losses, with a 9-6 record in the conference.
Looking ahead, both Lindenwood and Morehead State are set to return to the court on Saturday. Lindenwood will face Southern Indiana in a home matchup, while Morehead State is scheduled to play against Western Illinois on the road.
