In a thrilling encounter at Arlington, Texas, Raysean Seamster excelled by scoring 29 points, leading UT Arlington to an impressive comeback victory over Cal Baptist with a final score of 82-79 after overtime.
Despite trailing by 17 points at one point, the Mavericks showcased their determination and resilience. Alongside Seamster, Lance Ware contributed significantly to the team’s efforts with 14 points, complemented by eight rebounds and five steals. Darius Burford also made his mark on the game, adding 12 points while shooting effectively, going 5 of 11 from the floor and hitting 2 for 3 from the free-throw line.
For the Lancers, Javonte Johnson was the standout performer, scoring 15 points and playing a pivotal role in keeping the game competitive. Both Dominique Daniels Jr. and AJ Braun also provided valuable contributions, each adding 12 points to the team’s total.
