SACRAMENTO, Calif. — In a strategic move to enhance their roster, the Sacramento Kings have signed former first overall draft choice Markelle Fultz for the rest of the season.
This announcement was made late Wednesday, as the Kings are looking to bolster their point guard position following the recent trade of star player De’Aaron Fox.

Fultz, who was selected first in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, has gained valuable experience throughout his career.
Over the course of 234 games, Fultz has played for both the 76ers and the Orlando Magic, contributing an average of 11.1 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.
His most recent appearance was during the 2023-24 season while playing for the Magic, and he brings both skill and versatility to the Kings’ lineup.

By bringing Fultz on board, the Kings hope to instill increased depth and competitive edge in their backcourt as they navigate the ongoing season and adjust to changes in their squad.
