YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – In a dominating performance, Nico Galette contributed significantly to Youngstown State’s 93-71 win over Purdue Fort Wayne during a recent matchup.
Galette showcased his skills by scoring 21 points while also securing 10 rebounds and dishing out five assists for the Penguins, who now hold a record of 17-10 overall and 11-5 in the Horizon League.

Juwan Maxey supported the team with 17 points, shooting 5 for 14 from the field, including 3 for 11 from beyond the arc, while also making all four of his free throws.
Jason Nelson added to the offensive effort with 14 points and an efficient shooting performance, hitting 4 of 6 attempts from the field. This included a 2 for 3 success from three-point territory, complemented by another perfect outing from the charity stripe at 4 for 4.

On the other side, the Mastodons were led by Rasheed Bello, who recorded 21 points to accompany his six assists and two steals.
Maximus Nelson also put up a solid performance, contributing 14 points for Purdue Fort Wayne, who now stand at 18-9 overall and share a record of 11-5 in the league.

Looking ahead, Youngstown State will be traveling to face Cleveland State on Sunday, while Purdue Fort Wayne prepares to visit Robert Morris this coming Saturday.
