WORCESTER, Mass. — Jalen Cox delivered an impressive performance, scoring 18 points in Colgate’s commanding 87-65 win against Holy Cross on Wednesday evening.
Cox was efficient on the offensive end, shooting 7 out of 11 from the field, including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, contributing significantly to the Raiders’ record of 11-15 overall and 8-5 in the Patriot League. Jeff Woodward added to the team’s success with 15 points, going 7 for 11 on field goal attempts, while also grabbing six rebounds and blocking three shots. Parker Jones and Nicolas Louis-Jacques each chipped in with 14 points to help secure the victory.
The Crusaders, falling to a record of 12-14 and 4-9 in the league, were led by DeAndre Williams, who scored 13 points and dished out five assists. Max Green matched him with another 13 points, while Caleb Kenney contributed 12 points and recorded two steals in the effort.
Looking ahead, both teams will be back in action on Saturday. Colgate is set to take on Boston University, while Holy Cross will face off against Lehigh.
