LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Tuesday night, Southeast Missouri State triumphed over Little Rock with a score of 57-45, thanks in large part to Rob Martin, who scored 17 points.
Martin’s shooting stats included making 5 of 16 attempts from the floor, with only 1 out of 5 from beyond the arc, but he excelled at the free-throw line, converting all 6 attempts for the Redhawks, who now hold a record of 16-10 overall and 11-4 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Alongside Martin, Brendan Terry contributed significantly to the victory, totaling 14 points while shooting an impressive 4 of 6 from the field and also going a perfect 6 for 6 from the charity stripe. Additionally, he secured six rebounds and made four steals. Troy Cole Jr. rounded out the double-digit scoring with 10 points, connecting on 3 of 7 field goal attempts, including 2 for 4 from three-point range. This win marks the sixth consecutive victory for the Redhawks.
On the opposing side, Johnathan Lawson led the Trojans with 15 points, alongside four assists and three steals. Little Rock’s Ante Beljan added 12 points to the scoreboard, while Isaiah Lewis chipped in with seven points.
The game showcased strong performances from key players on both teams, further intensifying the competitive atmosphere within the conference. The Redhawks’ recent success adds to their growing momentum as they head deeper into the season.
