RENO, Nev. — In an impressive showing on Monday night, Nick Davidson led the charge for Nevada with 25 points as they overpowered Fresno State, resulting in a 94-69 victory. This defeat marked the seventh consecutive loss for the Bulldogs this season.

Davidson showcased his shooting skills, hitting 10 of his 12 attempts from the field, including two successful three-pointers, while also contributing six assists for the Wolf Pack, who now hold a record of 14 wins and 10 losses, along with a 6-7 standing in the Mountain West Conference. Justin McBride made a notable impact off the bench, scoring 19 points on 9 of 12 shooting and pulling down eight rebounds. Other key contributors included Xavier Dusell with 15 points and six rebounds, while Kobe Sanders recorded a double-double with 10 points and an impressive 10 assists, marking his first of the season.

For Fresno State, Jasir Tremble led the team with 19 points, tying his season high by sinking five shots from beyond the arc. His efforts, however, were not enough to overcome Nevada’s dominance. Brian Amuneke, coming off the bench, added four three-pointers for a total of 14 points, while Jalen Weaver contributed 12 points and Alex Crawford added another 10. Elijah Price almost achieved a double-double as well, finishing the game with nine points and nine rebounds.

The first half saw Davidson and McBride combining for a stellar performance, with Davidson scoring 14 points and McBride contributing 10. Together, they were flawless in their shooting during that period, going 11 for 11 from the field. Nevada capitalized on Fresno State’s mistakes, scoring 15 points off 14 turnovers in the first half, which ultimately helped them secure a 41-31 lead heading into halftime.
