DJ Richards added depth to the Cowboys’ scoring, netting 12 points and shooting an impressive 4-for-6 from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, Joe Charles also made his mark, scoring 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting, including 2-for-5 from three-point range. This victory improved McNeese’s record to 19-6 overall, with a solid standing of 13-1 in the Southland Conference.
On the other side, Scooter Williams Jr. was the standout for the Lions, finishing the game with 16 points. KC Ugwuakazi contributed significantly as well, with 10 points alongside six rebounds and two blocks, while Yusef Salih added nine points to the tally.
