    TAMPA, Fla. — On Sunday, Xavier Bell delivered an impressive performance, scoring 26 points, which contributed significantly to Wichita State’s narrow victory over South Florida, with a final score of 75-70.

    Bell showcased exceptional free throw shooting, hitting 14 out of 15 attempts, while also securing five rebounds for the Shockers, who currently hold a record of 13-10 overall and 3-7 in the American Athletic Conference. Quincy Ballard joined the effort with a double-double, contributing 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Corey Washington added 11 points to the team’s tally.

    For the Bulls, Jamille Reynolds was the standout player, leading the team with 18 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. His performance was complemented by Jimmie Williams, who chipped in 12 points, and Brandon Stroud, who finished with 11 points and three blocks. South Florida’s record now stands at 12-12 with a conference score of 5-6.
