EVANSVILLE, Ind. — In an impressive display, Duke Deen scored 16 points, contributing to Bradley’s 80-74 win over Evansville on Saturday evening.
Deen also grabbed five rebounds for the Braves, who improve to 19 wins and 6 losses overall, while holding a record of 10-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Darius Hannah added to the victory with 13 points and five rebounds, while Christian Davis chipped in with 12 points.
On the other side, Tayshawn Comer was the standout for the Purple Aces, leading his team with 23 points. Connor Turnbull had a solid performance as well, finishing the game with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks. Joshua Hughes also contributed with 12 points.
Bradley took control of the game early, leading by a significant margin of 43-25 at halftime. Davis was particularly effective during the first half, scoring nine points as part of his team’s strong opening performance.
