STOCKTON, Calif. — Braden Huff emerged as a pivotal player off the bench, contributing 17 points to guide Gonzaga to a 78-61 victory over Pacific on Saturday night.

Huff displayed remarkable efficiency, hitting 7 of 10 attempts from the floor and sinking 3 of 4 shots from the charity stripe, bolstering Gonzaga’s record to 18-7 overall and 9-3 in the West Coast Conference. Khalif Battle complemented Huff’s performance with 16 points, although he struggled from the field making only 3 of 11 attempts, including a dismal 1 for 6 from beyond the arc. However, Battle was perfect from the free-throw line, going 9 for 9, while also grabbing five rebounds. Graham Ike contributed with 13 points, shooting 6 of 9 from the field during the contest.

For Pacific, Lamar Washington led the team with a strong showing of 22 points and eight rebounds. Elias Ralph added 10 points along with two steals, while Elijah Fisher chipped in with nine points.

The first half saw Huff leading Gonzaga with nine points as they built a solid lead, heading into halftime with a score of 35-20. The Bulldogs didn’t slow down, pushing their advantage to 55-30 in the second half, largely thanks to an 11-2 scoring spurt. Ike was particularly effective during the latter half, scoring a team-high 11 points.
