In a decisive moment of the contest, Brzovic converted one of his two free-throw attempts, which allowed the Cougars to tie the game at 71 and push it into overtime.
During the extra period, Derrin Boyd made significant contributions, scoring six of his total 24 points. He managed to connect on one of his two attempts from the field and maintained a perfect record at the free-throw line, hitting all four attempts. Additionally, Brzovic’s robust performance included 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals, showcasing his all-around game for the Cougars, who now hold a record of 19 wins and 6 losses, with nine victories against three defeats in the Coastal Athletic Association.
